Sevan was developed with my longtime friend and collaborator Ara Soudjian, a filmmaker and director with deep ties to Armenia, and was shaped by my own extensive travels throughout the country. It’s a coming-of-age story about identity, belonging, and finding an authentic creative voice by embracing the disparate parts of yourself.
Now I’m mostly trying to convince Ara to make the damn thing.
